News Story

Food shapes our identity, the rhythm of our day, our emotions and our health.

Birmingham Museums Trust is looking for individuals across the city to tell us their experience of food growing up in the city, to capture the changing food habits and behaviours of Birmingham. We want to record oral histories with local residents and would love to hear from people of all backgrounds. You do not need to have any special skills or knowledge, just a willingness to share your experiences. This work will be added to our archive and used in conjunction with Birmingham City Council Public Health for research purposes.
