Relax on your picnic blanket* in the gardens and we’ll transport you to the heart of the natural world with timeless classics of Thomas Tallis and William Byrd, through to the contemporary harmonies of Eric Whitacre. We’ll also perform nature-inspired chart-toppers by Carly Simon, Justin Timberlake and the Beatles – a classic notorious mix!

Our programme will leave you with both a renewed appreciation for the natural world and a smile! It will be truly unforgettable.

*Please come prepared for British weather - rain or shine! In case of severe weather, an alternative venue will be announced on this website and social media on the day.

There will be time included to explore the Hall at your own leisure. Please bring your own picnic blanket or camping chairs to sit on as these will not be provided.

Information about Notorious choir

Founded in Birmingham by the visionary musical director, Clare Edwards in 1997, notorious is a vibrant choir who are passionate about creating choral music that is accessible for all, regardless of their background or prior musical experience. Our concerts weave an exciting tapestry of musical genres from classical to pop, jazz and folk melodies and often embrace works by new composers. We believe music should be experienced in all its glory in more unconventional settings throughout our city. Prepare to be surprised and enchanted as we bring our music to life in unique and unexpected places.
