Join us and the Birmingham Astronomical Society to celebrate National Astronomy Week in the beautiful grounds of Aston Hall. Chase the Moon across the Birmingham skyline as it passes a treasure trove of planets and winter constellations. Have a go at looking through a telescope and discover what’s waiting up there!

For guaranteed stars, step into our pop-up portable planetarium and enjoy a guided tour of the night sky with star-gazing expert Colin Hutcheson. Plus, Thinktank experts will be on hand with family-friendly activities and space object handling!

• You are welcome to arrive from 4pm for star gazing and other activities.
• The time slot booked is for your planetarium show and cannot be changed, this is due to limited space in the dome.
• Planetarium shows last approximately 30 minutes, this includes a short safety briefing and time getting in and out of the planetarium.
• We have a Planetarium Social Story to help you prepare for you visit.
• Please dress for the weather and wrap up warm.
• Please note the use of telescopes and binoculars outdoors is subject to weather conditions.
