About
Designed by John Thorpe and built by Sir Thomas Holte between 1618 to 1635, Aston Hall is packed to the rafters with architectural gems and historical treasures, including the breath-taking Long Gallery and the great oak staircase, which still shows the battle scars of the English Civil War.
What to see
Aston Hall opening times
Open Friday - Sunday, 11am – 4pm (last entry 3pm)*
- Gardens are free to visit from 11am-4pm.
- Admission charges apply to enter the Hall.
Pre-booking advised.
*On Aston Villa FC home match / event days, there are road closures in the area and our car park is closed - find out more. Aston Hall may sometimes close for private hire.
Closed: 18 January, 1 and 6-8 February.
